Crowns / Caps

Crowns can be provided if a tooth is heavily filled and deteriorated and broken down.  They are provided to protect and restore the original shape of a tooth and/or close up gaps between neighbouring teeth for example where food is getting trapped. Crowns are also a good adjunctive to consider after completion of a root canal treatment on a posterior tooth or when ever there is more filling than tooth on a single tooth.
